The elegant Villa Le Rose – situated on the hills of Florence in Impruneta – is a unique example of 15th century architecture perfectly restored in order to satisfy even the most demanding guests. Villa Le Rose is one of the most luxurious properties available for rent in the hills of Florence.
Property description:
Guests arrive through a private electric gate and gatehouse and pass along the driveway, which is lined with centuries old cypress trees – the gardens of Le Rose are spectacular.
Through the formal entrance, you enter into ‘ the cortile’ which is decorated with large terracotta vases and jasmine and no less than a gorgeous Della Robbia ceramic Madonna and Child which is worthy of a place in Florence’s great museum Gli Uffizi. The loggia, perfect for summer days (as it is always quite cool) is decorated with wrought iron chairs and couches.
The pool area is to the left of the formal entrance and is accessed by passing through a low wrought iron gate. The pool area is completely fenced in. The pool is oval shaped and painted the color of blue/slate; the garden walls are original walls of the villa. The views from here are stunning. The covered dining area near the pool is ideal for easygoing picnics or cocktails. At the far end of the pool area is a table for up to 6 people and can be used for light lunches.
An outdoor covered dining area will be added this winter and will be placed with easy access to the kitchen. A lounge area with wrought iron chairs and tables is close to the dining area and is an ideal setting for breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails and of course dinner ‘al fresco’.
There are six bedrooms in the villa – all with double beds – sleeping up to 12 people. All bedrooms are exquisitely appointed with antiques and the finest furnishings; each has its own luxurious private bathroom with all amenities.
There is a sumptuous ballroom decorated with frescoes, a massive crystal chandelier and a grand piano. The villa also has a formal dining room which can seat up to 22 people, and a large living room which can comfortably seat 14. For movie watching, satellite TV or simply relaxing, there is a library.
Services and staff:
• Butler available from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• Daily Cleaning 6 days per week for up to 6 hours per day. If this is not sufficient in order to keep the house in order clients will be requested to pay for additional hours. Daily cleaning service is basic straighten up of bedrooms, cleaning bathrooms and common areas. Daily cleaning does not include washing of dishes from the night before if left by clients. If clients wish to prepare meals on their own with no services requested they are also responsible for cleaning up after themselves.
• Breakfast preparation 6 days per week; food is not included.
• Meet and Greet at the airport by Villa representative, this is not transportation but the villa will send a representative to meet clients on their arrival to the airport or train station and escort them to the villa. If clients are not booking a rental car, any sort of transportation is available on request.
• Full Time 24 hour concierge service via telephone.

The Villa is 13 Km from the center of Florence and 2 Km from Fi Certosa exit off the autostrada A1; it is very convenient for day trips and easy access to the Florence airport.
