Italian Classic Cars, Anyone?

EyeItalia has found many Italian treasures in its travels, but none quite as charming or authentic as a private collection of Italian vintage cars and motorbikes, lovingly restored in Lucca, Tuscany. We are pleased to announce that once a month eyeItalia will showcase two cars or bikes from this unique collection; all are for sale and encompass a broad spectrum of models, sizes and prices. For more information please contact us.

Our October picks include a Fiat 600 Multipla minivan and a 1950’s Torpado moped. Take a look! It doesn’t get much better than this…

Fiat 600 Multipla, 1960

The Multipla was the first "monovolume" minivan ever created. It carries up to 6 passengers and can be transformed in seconds into a van. The Multipla was the typical Milanese taxi during the ’60’s and was also very popular with greengrocers and nuns (!). This particular model is very rare; it underwent restoration from the ground up using original parts and interior materials, and has been kept in a private collection since. If you and your neighbors own the same model Ferrari or Bentley already, try this one.

1950’s Torpado Moped

Torpado was a well known Italian bicycle and race bicycle manufacturer. This model is powered by a 32cc two-stroke Mosquito engine. Mosquito engines were built after WWII to motorize bicycles, getting Italians back on the roads to start the post-war  "miracolo economico". This bike is very rare and has been fully restored in its original powder blue. Park it in your living room for the ultimate conversation piece, decorate your business with it or simply enjoy a ride, Italian-style.
